Staff Accountant

An innovative 40-year-old Berkely-based engineering firm is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its collaborative team as its current Accountant retires.  In this integral role, your responsibilities will include all aspects of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Payroll processing.

Qualifications: 

• 7+ years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, preferably in the AEC industries 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field. 

• Experience using Deltek Ajera accounting software 

• Solid understanding of GAAP and knowledge of fundamentals associated with different functional areas of accounting. 

• Proficient in GL account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.
